Prophetic Hadith regarding Salatul Tasbih
Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him) said to Hadrat Abbas Ibn Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him): O Abbas, O my uncle! Should I not give you, should I not tell you something in lieu of performance of which Allah will forgive all your past and future sins, old and new, done wittingly or unwittingly, evident or concealed. You should offer four Rak’ah of prayers in a way that in each Rak’ah after reciting surah Fatiha and a verse of the Qur’an say fifteen times “SubhanAllahwalHamdulillahwa la ilahaIllallahuWallahu Akbar” and then repeat it ten times before finishing the bow, ten times on standing erect and ten times before finishing each of the prostrations, ten times in between them and ten times after the second prostration before getting up. Thus in each Rak’ah this has to be repeated seventy-five times. If you can, offer this prayer every day, if not once in every week or once in every month or at least once in a year.If even this is not possible, at least once in a life time.” (Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Baihaqi)
How to offer Salatul Tasbih
Salatul Tasbih or this “Namaz” is to be performed in not less than four rakats, Salatul Tasbih can be Performed in any part of the day or night but not in Zawaal timings as well as sun rise or sunset timings (these times are prohibited to perform any salah). As per the Fatwa Alamgeeri, preferred time to perform Salatul Tasbih is before Zohar.
Dua to be recited in Salatul Tasbih
Sub haan Allahi Wal Hamdu lil lahi Wa La Ilaha il lal Laahu Wal la hu Akbar
Salatul Tasbih Performing Method
Your Ultimate Goal is to recite “Sub haan Allahi Wal Hamdu lil lahi Wa Laa ilaha il lal Laahu Wal lahu Akbar” 300 times in your salah (Four Rakats).
How to complete 300 times method mentioned below
In your first Standing (Rakat), after Sanaa that is “Sub HaanaKal La HummaWa Bi Hamdika..”, recite tasbih mentioned above (15 times). After tasbih recite qirat like daily Salah, after reciting qirat, recite tasbih again (10 times)
After this go to Ruku by saying Allah Hu Akbar, recite Sub Haana Rabi al-Azeem in sets of 3 , then again recite above mentioned tasbih 10 times in ruku itself. After this, get up from Ruku by saying Sami Allah Hu LimanHamida – Rabbana la kalhamd. Now recite above mentioned tasbih 10 times in standing position. Time to prostrate, now prostrate and recite Sub Ha Na Rabbi Al Ala in sets of 3, like daily prayer and then recite above mentioned tasbih 10 times. Like this in one rakat 75 times of tasbih will be completed.
Now get up to normal position by saying Allah Hu Akbar & follow the same routine even in second rakat. it will complete one more 75 times of tasbih, now in second rakat after second prostration you will sit In Qauda Oola to recite at tahiyat & Durood Shareef like daily Salah and get up for third rakat, recite the same way third and fourth rakat and complete 75 times of tasbih in every rakat, by doing this you will complete 300 times of tasbih & Salatul tasbih will be completed like daily prayer ending with at-tahiyat, durood, dua & salam.
May Allah Accept you Salah and all good deeds Ameen
Special notes for SalatulTasbih:

2) Counting on beads in hand is Makruh.
3) Counting by pressing the fingers as a reminder. Is Allowed
as example “In Ruku. You may press small finger of your right hand first for the first count, then the finger next to it for another count, then the middle finger for third count, following this method un-till you reach the small finger of left hand it will give you an exact count of ten.
