Love Your Parents
Love your Parents
It’s widely said that you should love your parents & never trouble them, but to what extent should we love our parents.
Let’s find some examples of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), that how he taught us to love our parents.
Once upon a time, a companion of Prophet (PBUH) asked, when the end of this world will start to learn how to get tuition the Prophet (PBUH) replied when the children shall start insulting their mothers the end of this world will start.
Allah Hu Akbar
There was another companion of Prophet (PBUH) called Hazrat Al-qama,
He was about to die, the wife of the Hazrat Al-qama (R.A) sent a massage to the Prophet (PBUH) and informed that Hazrat Al-qama unable to recite Kalima Tayyaba (La-Ilaha il Lallah Muhammad Ur Rasool Allah),
Rasool Allah went to him and asked to recite Kalima Tayyaba
But Hazrat Al Qama (R.a) said o Prophet (PBUH) unable to recite.
He was properly speaking there was no problem with his tongue at all, that it might tremble but no there was no issue like that.
Rasool Allah (PBUH) asked Al Qama (R.a) who is alive from your parents, your father or Your mother or both of them?
Hazrat Al-qama said my mother is alive
Prophet (PBUH) called his mother and asked her, O mother of Al-qama (R.a), are you unhappy with your child ?
She said yes I am.
Prophet (PBUH) asked the mother of Al Qama (R.a) what is the reason?
His mother replied that my son Al-qama is the very pious man, he wakes up in the night to offer prayer fasts in the day.
But he never speaks to me properly, whenever he talks to me he speaks with harshness,
This hurts me and I am unhappy with my son.
Prophet (PBUH) convinced the mother of Al Qama (R.a) to forgive Hazrat Al-qama (R.a) and his mother forgave him
Then Prophet (Pbuh) asked him again to recite kalima tayyaba this time he could recite
Just after the recitation of kalmia tayyaba Hazarat Al-qama (R.A) passed away. (Inna Lillah- E- Wa Inna Ilaihe Raje Oon)
This was the condition of Allah’s Messenger’s Companion, for whom Allah says in glorious Quran “that O prophet this is my promise that each & every companion of you will enter in to the paradise I’ve forgiven their sins”
But still Hazrat Al-Qama was unable to recite kalima tayyaba at the time of his death, just because his bad behavior with his mother.
Dear Friends, we need to think what are we doing with our parents, we must honor them we must love them we must keep them happy.
In Islam there are two things, that just only watching them with love & affection is Ibadah one of them is Holy Kaba (Mecca) and another of them is your mother and father while they are in old age.
We are bound to obey our parents unless it doesn’t go against Allah’s will Allah’s deen.
